This Privacy Policy applies to Type A Professionals (“Type A”) and typeAprofessionals.com (“Site”) and governs the collection, usage, and storage of your personal information and data. Type A reserves the right to update this policy at any time. By using the Site, you consent to this current policy as posted.

Information collection

Type A only collects personal information that you voluntarily provide. If you elect to use services on the Site, including the contact form, Type A may collect publicly available information including your name, email address, and phone number. By using the Site, you represent that you are not a minor and that the information you provide is accurate.

Anonymous usage data may be collected when you visit the Site, including your IP address, device type, page views, access times, and referring sources. The Site uses cookies to enhance your user experience, which you may decline in your browser settings. The Site contains links to other websites; Type A is not liable or responsible for any other website’s content or privacy practices.

Information usage

Type A uses your personal information to communicate with you about your order and to deliver the services you requested. Type A does not sell, rent, or lease its client lists to any third parties.

Type A may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Type A or the Site; protect and defend the rights or property of Type A; and/or act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Type A or the public.

Information storage

The Site uses the recommended Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol encryption to secure your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, use, or disclosure. Security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet and any wireless network are beyond Type A’s control. Security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and Type A cannot be guaranteed. Type A is not liable for any loss or corruption of any such data.

Type A retains your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Subject to certain exceptions required by law, Type A will delete your personal information from our records upon request.

Recordings sent to Type A may contain confidential and proprietary information and data. Our CITI-certified transcribers maintain strict confidentiality and will sign a non-disclosure agreement upon request. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after project completion.
